Carnival of Suburbia Carnival of Suburbia features ten days of live music, from 8th-18th March, at the Caravan Music Club, (Oakleigh RSL) and the Oakleigh Bowling Club, both located in Drummond Street. Emerging out of the so-called cultural "wastelands" of the south last year, Carnival of Suburbia rose like a flower in the desert to firmly establish itself as an iconic annual event celebrating Melbourne's suburban soul and culture.
